A Wicked Good Time at Alpharetta Arts Family Day

Nita (our amazing office manager) and I had a wicked good time at the Alpharetta Arts Family Day Festival! Our spin-the-wheel game was a huge hit—kids lined up to earn treats by taking on fun, “Wicked”-inspired challenges like...
saying something kind (channeling their inner Glinda)...
giving us their best witch’s cackle...
“defying gravity” with big jumps...
or playing the hand bells and boomwhackers.
The laughter, energy, and creativity were pure magic.
One of the highlights of the day was watching our very own student, Mona Pham, take the stage to perform Let It Go. She was an absolute showstopper! The crowd sang along, phones came out for pictures and videos, and you could feel the joy in the air. |

I know I say it often, but I truly live for these moments. Seeing our students step onto a stage, confident, expressive, and doing what they love, reminds me why we do what we do. We’re so proud of Mona for sharing her talent with the community. Her performance was the perfect example of our core value, Pursuing Growth, showing courage, creativity, and a willingness to stretch beyond her comfort zone.
A huge thank you to the Alpharetta Arts Center for their continued support and partnership. We love being part of this incredible community and can’t wait to be back for our Thanksgiving Week Rock Band Camp!

Metro Music Makers is excited to announce our Winter Showcase 2025, to be held on Saturday, December 6. This one-day event will allow Metro Music Makers students to celebrate with family and friends while showcasing the progress they have made with their music.
