How to Nurture Your Young Singer
Dear , |
|
One of the questions I hear most often from parents is how to best support a child who loves to sing—especially when that child is still growing, changing, and figuring things out. It’s a question rooted not just in music, but in connection: how we show up for our kids as they explore who they are.
That’s why I love this week’s blog post, Eight Ways Parents Can Nurture Young Singers, written by our vocal coach Canangela Boyd-Robertson. Her perspective aligns beautifully with our theme this year of connection through music, reminding us that healthy musical growth happens through encouragement, shared experiences, and meeting each child where they are.
If singing is already part of your child’s world—or if they’re just beginning to explore it—I hope this article offers reassurance, clarity, and a few ideas you can carry with you along the way.
