Dear ,
There's a moment every music teacher lives for.
It happens when a group of young musicians, each focused on their own part, suddenly locks into a groove together. It's a little messy, a lot of fun, and completely unforgettable.
We've watched it happen again and again: a student looks up mid-song, eyes wide, realizing they're not just playing notes anymore. They're part of something. They start listening differently, reacting to each other, and finding a kind of confidence that goes well beyond music.
That's exactly what Acoustic Jam Fest is designed to create.
What Campers Experience
Throughout the week, campers learn songs, explore different musical styles, and discover what it truly means to collaborate as a musical group. They'll play the ukulele and acoustic guitar, add percussion instruments to create a full-ensemble sound, rehearse together, and perform for family on the final day of camp.
Along the way, they develop real musical skills: keeping a steady rhythm, blending their sound with others, following musical cues, and contributing to a shared goal. They'll also walk away with something just as valuable: new friendships and memories made while making music together.
The Perfect Setting
The relaxed atmosphere of the FFA Log Cabin in Alpharetta gives campers a chance to unplug, connect with other young musicians, and spend their mornings doing what they love. Whether your child is picking up a favorite ukulele song or figuring out how their guitar part fits into a group arrangement, the focus is simple: participation, creativity, and fun.
